Jigsaw puzzle retailers Bits and Pieces and Spilsbury have announced their top selling jigsaw puzzles of 2012 (thus far). Shaped puzzles are in the lead this year for both companies.

For Bits and Pieces, it's the Alan Giana designed Birdbath Garden, a 750 piece shaped puzzle. The 750 piece version is currently out of stock, but you can still pick up the 300 piece version.

Spilsbury reports that Spring Break, a 1,000 piece shaped puzzle designed by Mary Thompson is its best seller. The puzzle is currently in stock.  Spilsbury also offers Thompson's similarly themed Lakeside Lane Cottage.
